Digital Games and Story Telling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This course aims to teach the stages and tools of developing digital stories and games. To this day, storytelling has remained a pedagogical tool. Storytelling is a powerful pedagogical approach to disseminate learning outcomes in general, science and technology education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, individuals continue to tell the story by using new digital media tools. Digital storytelling is seen as a combination of traditional storytelling and multimedia technologies. Today, many communication technologies and multimedia tools are used. With the help of these technologies and tools, storytelling has changed and transformed into digital storytelling. The aim of this course is to provide teachers with information on how to integrate today’s widely used digital games with their effective and motivating aspects into the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objectives of the course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– To help teach meaningful and purposeful speech<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– To increase students\u2019 willingness to read<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Find a story to read to encourage students<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Writing own stories in a short time to make students feel confident<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Improving solidarity in the classroom<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Developing listening skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Identifying children who enjoy acting<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Giving students good motivation to improve their speaking and writing skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Learning how to combine technology and stories or games<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Comparing the process of storytelling and the types of online educational games<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Participants fill in a detailed questionnaire before the course, indicating their level of experience, teaching background and training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
